Porto de Vista was born in 2008 as a space dedicated to beauty and wellness in the heart of the city. In those early years, our roots were in vinoterapia — wine therapy beauty treatments based on the polyphenols extracted from Douro valley grapes, a practice that combined the best of Portuguese winemaking tradition with advanced aesthetics techniques. Port wine was not merely a drink; it was a beauty ingredient, a philosophy of life.

Over time, that passion for beauty expanded beyond the walls of the spa. We began looking at Porto with the same eyes we used in our treatments: seeking beauty in the details, in the reflections of golden light across the rooftops of Cedofeita, in the shadows of the Ribeira alleyways at dusk, in the hidden gardens of Massarelos where camellias bloom in January.

Porto is not simply a beautiful city — it is a city you feel. With a metropolitan population of approximately 1.7 million, Porto is Portugal's second-largest city and the economic engine of the country's north.
